„Kompost sein“ – Ein Dokumentarfilm zu Mensch-Boden Verhältnissen im GeoKino.
Im Rahmen des Kompost Festival 2022 entstand dieser Kurzfilm: Eine künstlerische Annäherung an die Frage, was wir vom Kompost lernen können, bevor wir uns in ihn verwandeln. Der Film nimmt uns mit auf eine Reise in unbekannte und bedrohte Unterwelten voller Leben und drängender Fragen zur Zukunft unseres Planeten: Die Rückkehr zur Erde als Antwort auf die Bodenkrise. Ein Wimmelfilm der von der Kunst der ständigen Verwandlung, vom Reiz des Verrottens und vom Ende als Anfang handelt: Was soll der Dreck, wohin mit dem Müll und wer ist er, dieser Kompost? 25 min.

Zusätzlich zeigen wir den Kurzfilm „Food, Earth, Happiness“ über naturnahe Landwirtschaft.
Eine Reise durch Japan, Korea und die Vereinigten Staaten, die unsere Wahrnehmung von Essen (und Leben) auf einfache und poetische Weise auf den Kopf stellt. Lösungen für unsere drängendsten sozialen und ökologischen Probleme kommen von unerwarteten Orten in einem kurzweiligen Film, den die New York Times-Bestsellerautorin Alicia Bay Laurel als „wunderschön… sowohl die Kunst als auch die Dokumentation“ bezeichnet. 20 min.

At the Compost Festival 2022 this short film was born: An artistic approach to the question of what we can learn from compost before we turn into it. The film takes us on a journey into unknown and threatened underworlds full of life and pressing questions about the future of our planet: Returning to Earth as the Answer to the Soil Crisis. A teeming film that deals with the art of constant transformation, the allure of rotting and the end as a beginning: What’s with the dirt, where to put the garbage and who is „he“, this compost? 25 min.

In addition, we will show the short film „Food, Earth, Happiness“ about natural agriculture.
A majestic journey through Japan, Korea, and the United States that turns our perceptions of food (and life) upside down in a simple and poetic way.
